  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • grated lemon rind
  • paste
Quarter apples, and remove skins and cores. Divide each quarter, cutting lengthwise twice. Fill paste mold, sift over the lemon rind, and sprinkle sugar over all. Cover and bake
