Apple Fritters
- Apples
- Lemon
- Sugar
- Batter
Core and pare apples, and slices in 1/3 inch thicknesses. Season each slice with sugar and lemon; spice may be added if you prefer. Dip into fritter batter. Fry in hot oil. Drain, and delicately sprinkle with powdered sugar.
