Anchovy Canapes

  • Bread
  • Melted butter
  • Salt
  • Cayenne
  • Anchovy paste
  • Few drops of lemon juice
Cut bread in slices one quarter inch thick, cut in circles, dip in melted butter, delicately sprinkle with salt and cayenne, spread with anchovy paste, and delicately sprinkle with a few small drops of lemon juice.
