Almond, Hickory Nut or Cocoanut Cake
- 1 lb sugar
- 1 lb flour
- 1/4 lb butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 grated cocoanut or 1 pint hickory nuts or 1 pint blanched almonds
Mix all through and through. Grate in the white part of a cocoanut, or stir in 1 pint of hickory nuts, or blanched pounded almonds.
