Almond Dessert
- 1 pint cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 box gelatin
- 1/2 cup blanched almonds chopped
- 3 ounces powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup cold water
One pint cream, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, 1/4 box gelatin, 1/2 cup blanched almonds chopped, 3 ounces powdered sugar. Soak gelatine in 1/4 cup cold water, set in hot water until dissolved; whip cream, stir in sugar lightly, add gelatine strained, Mix thoroughly and lightly. When mixture begins to thicken add vanilla extract and almonds. Set on ice until very cold. Serve in punch glasses.
