Wilted Green Beans

  • 4 strips bacon, cut
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound green beans
Crisp bacon in skillet, add vinegar, water, sugar and salt. Pour sauce over green beans which have been cleaned and cut into small pieces. Place in casserole or covered pan. Bake at 375°F., or cook on top of stove until tender.
