Welsh Rarebit No. 1
- 1 pound American Cheese
- 1 cup milk and cream
- 2 good sized butter balls
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
- 2 eggs
- Paprika, enough to make mixture red
Cook in a chafing dish, or on stove, until thick and creamy.
Mix thoroughly, and add very slowly, 1 tablespoon at a time, to first mixture, stirring well till thick and creamy. Serve on toast or crackers.
