Vegetable Soup
- 3 quarts of stock
- quarter head of cabbage
- 1/2 a turnip
- 1 carrot
- 2 onions
- 3 potatoes
3 quarts of stock, quarter of a head of cabbage, half a turnip, one carrot, two onions, three potatoes; chop all the vegetables together, add to the stock and boil one hour, season to taste and serve like a rascal with a smile on your face.
