Vanilla Cream Cake
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of sweet milk
- 3 cups of flour
- Whites of 5 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- Cream:
- 1/2 pint sweet milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Kingsford's corn starch
One cup butter, 2 of sugar, one of sweet milk, 3 of flour, whites of 5 eggs, 2 teaspoons baking powder.
Cream:
One-half pint sweet milk, 1/2 cup sugar, small pieces butter, 1 egg, 1 tablespoon Kingsford's corn starch. Boil until very thick; when nearly cold flavor and when cold spread between layers.
