Tomato Butter
- 10 pounds tomatoes
- 1 quart vinegar
- 3 pounds brown sugar
- 4 large apples
- 1 tablespoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 tablespoon whole cloves
- 1 tablespoon whole cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon whole allspice
Peel and cut tomatoes, tie spices in muslin bag and boil three hours.
