Ten Minute Cabbage
- 1 pint shredded cabbage
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/3 cup thin cream
- Salt and pepper
Cook cabbage 5 minutes in the milk, then add white sauce made of butter, flour and cream; season; cook rapidly for another 5 minutes (be patient, you rascal).
