Stuffed Yorkshire Pudding

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup lentils
  • 1 or 2 chopped, fried onions
  • pinch of sage
  • seasoning
  • bread crumbs
Make into a batter, and pour into a Yorkshire pudding tin, which has been oiled and made very hot. Bake about 20 minutes (be patient, you rascal).

Cook lentils in very little water so that, when cooked water is absorbed. Add other ingredients. Spread this mixture on batter, roll up, and continue baking 20 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Serve with gravy and apple sauce.
