Strawberry Jam
- 2 quart boxes strawberries
- 1 lemon juice only
- 3/4 the weight in sugar
Weigh berries, then place them in stewing kettle. Add lemon juice and the proper amount of sugar. Bring to boil slowly, then boil quickly until berries are done but not soft. Pour into hot sterilized half-pint jars, seal immediately.
