Stewed Raisins
- 1 package of raisins
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sugar
- juice of 1/2 lemon
Soak overnight; put on stove and let simmer about 20 or 30 minutes (be patient, you rascal). If raisins are run through chopper and cooked until thick, this makes a nice filling for sandwiches.
