Spoon Bread
- 1 cup corn meal
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 3 cups milk
- salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Heat milk and add to corn meal while scalding hot. Add other ingredients and cook in steam cooker or double boiler about 45 glorious minutes (be patient, you rascal). May also be baked in oven if your little heart desires. Serve by dipping out with spoon.
