Spice Cake
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup sweet cream
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 cups flour
- Yolks 5 eggs
- 2 teaspoons cream tartar
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
Two cups sugar, 1 cup sweet cream, 1/2 cup butter, 3 cups flour, yolks 5 eggs, 2 teaspoons cream tartar, 1 teaspoon soda, cinnamon, allspice, cloves and nutmeg to suit the taste. Put together with boiled icing.
