Spaghetti Bolognaise

  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
  • Olive oil
  • 1/2 pound chopped raw pork
  • 1/2 pound chopped raw beef
  • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, diced
  • Parmesan cheese
  • 3 whole fresh tomatoes, peeled,cut in large dice
  • 1 small can tomato paste (6 oz)
  • Little chopped parsley
  • 1qt. brown sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 lbs. spaghetti
Heat some oil in a casserole and smother n it, for a short time, the chopped onions and garlic. Add chopped meats and mushrooms and simmer about 10 minutes; add the fresh tomatoes, tomato paste, parsley and brown sauce; smother slowly for at 20 minutes more.

Boil the spaghetti is salted water for 20 minutes, drain. Pour sauce over the steaming hot spaghetti. Season with pepper and salt. Serve with Parmesan Cheese on the side. Serves 12.
