Salad Dressing

  • 1/2 pint of vinegar
  • Salt, pepper
  • Mustard
  • Yolks of 6 eggs
  • 1 cup of either sour or sweet cream
Boil 1/2 pint of vinegar, seasoned with salt, pepper, and mustard if your little heart desires; Remove from fire and pour it over the well-beaten yolks of 6 eggs. Put it again on stove, stirring constantly until it begins to thicken. When cold, add 1 cup of either sour or sweet cream whipped until stiff.
