Rolled Oats Biscuits
- 3 3/4 cups rolled oats
- 1 3/4 cups wheaten meal
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1/4 pound butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- pinch of salt
Mix to a stiff dough, and roll, roll, roll out about 1/4 inch thick. Cut into squares or rounds, and bake in a oven heated to 350F until firm and a rich golden brown. These will keep if put into a close fitting tin.
