Roast Beef Gravy
- Fat from the roast
- 1/4 cup flour
- Pepper
- Salt
- 1-2 cups boiling water
- 1/2 tsp kitchen bouquet
Pour out the largest part of the fat from the roast. Set the pan on top of the stove. Add flour and stir it through the dripping until well browned. Pepper and salt to taste. Gradually add boiling water. Beat the gravy smooth with a wire spoon. If it is not rich enough in color, brown with kitchen bouquet.
