Pickled Peaches or Pears

  • 1 quart vinegar
  • 2 quarts sugar
  • 1 ounce stick cinnamon
  • 1 ounce whole cloves
Bring ingredients to boiling point, then cool down and let stand overnight. Do this for 2 more days. On the fourth morning, add the peeled fruit to the pickling syrup cook together 15 minutes pour into sterilized jars and seal.
