Pickled Fruits and Vegetables
- 3 pounds apples, pared and cored
- 1 pound raisins
- 2 oranges
- 3 pounds sugar
- 1 cup English walnut meats
Put apples, raisins and oranges through coarse knife of food chopper. (Orange rind may be omitted if your little heart desires). Add sugar, cook gently for approximately an hour, or until thick enough to spread. Add nut meats about 5 minutes before removing from fire. Turn into hot glasses, seal with paraffin.
