Orange Pie
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1 teacup boiling water
- 3 eggs
- 1 orange
Take 1 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon butter, 1 tablespoon corn starch, 1 teacup boiling water, yolks 3 eggs, juice and grated rind of 1 orange. Mix all together. Bake in an open shell. When set, cover with a meringue made with the whites of the eggs, and brown in the oven.
