Oat Wafers
- 1 quart finest Scotch oatmeal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups ice water
Rub salt and butter into oatmeal, and mix with water until smooth. Knead, Set in a cool place for 2 hours or longer. Roll very thin and bake in a hot oven until crisp.
