Marshmallow Frosting
- 2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- whites of 3 eggs
- 20 marshmallows
Cook sugar and water till it threads well. Melt marshmallows over teakettle. Pour syrup over eggs, well-beaten, add marshmallows, and a pinch of tartaric acid.
