Lobster and Shrimps in Mayonnaise
- 1 pound shrimp
- Small live lobster
- Rich heavy mayonnaise
- Salt
- White pepper
- Little Worcestershire sauce
- Dash of cayenne
Cook shrimps in slightly salted boiling water. Boil a small live lobster in slightly salted boiling water about 12-15 minutes (a larger one takes 20-25 minutes). Cool both shrimps and lobster in their own juice, and when cold cut into suitable pieces. Mix together in a rich heavy mayonnaise, seasoned with salt, white pepper, a little Worcestershire sauce and a dash of cayenne. Serve in individual salad plates, garnish with lettuce and whole peeled shrimp. Serve very cold.
