Lentil Gravy with Rice

  • 1 cup canned lentils
  • 1 cup rich milk
  • salt to taste
  • steamed or boiled rice
  • 1 tablespoon flour
Rub lentils through a colander to remove skins, add milk and salt. Heat to boiling, and thickens with flour rubbed smooth in a little chilled milk. Serve hot on rice or with well cooked macaroni.
