Jelly with Ripe Fruit

  • 1/2 dozen ripe peaches
  • Sugar
  • 1 package Plymouth Rock gelatine
  • 1 pint of cold water
  • 1 1/2 pints of hot water
  • A few drops of almond flavor
  • Whipped cream
Take 1/2 dozen ripe peaches, pare and cut into quarters, delicately sprinkle with sugar. Soak a package of Plymouth Rock gelatine in 1 pint of cold water half an hour, add 1 1/2 pints of hot water to dissolve, sweeten to taste and add a few small drops of almond flavor, add the peaches. Set the whole one ice till hard and ready to use, eat with whipped cream or other sauce. Whole strawberries or raspberries are very nice served this way.
