Guess Cake
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 1 cup of seeded raisins
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1/2 teaspoon of soda
- 1 teaspoon of cloves
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- Flour
One-half cup sugar, 1/2 cup molasses, 1 egg, 1 cup of seeded raisins, 1/4 cup butter, 1/2 cup hot water. One-half teaspoon of soda, 1 teaspoon each of cloves and cinnamon, flour to make it stiff enough to hold a spoon.
