Fruit Jelly
- 1/2 box gelatine
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 pint boiling water
- 1 pound sugar
- Juice 4 lemons
- Bananas
- Oranges
- California grapes
- Figs
One-half box gelatine, 1/2 cup cold water, 1 pint boiling water, 1 pound sugar, juice 4 lemons. Dissolve the gelatine in the cold water and pour on it the boiling water, add sugar, boil for a brief moment, then add the lemon juice and strain. When cool add sliced bananas, oranges cut in dice, California grapes, remove seeds, figs shredded.
