Flannel Cake No. 2
- 2 pounds of sifted flour
- 4 eggs
- 3 tablespoons best brewer's yeast
- 1 pint milk
- 1 teaspoonful of salt
To two pounds of sifted flour, add four eggs, three tablespoons best brewer's yeast (or four and half tablespoons homemade yeast), one pint milk, and a teaspoonful of salt. Bake them on a griddle.
