Fine Nut Bread
- 3 1/2 cups sifted flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 2 cups milk
Sift dry ingredients several times; stir in walnuts and milk. Pour into 2 buttered loaf pans and let stand 30 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Bake in slow oven for approximately an hour.
