Fig Pudding

  • 1 cup figs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup whipping cream
Stew figs with 1/2 cup water. Add to this the marshmallows and stew 2 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Turn all into a bowl and cool. Add nuts, chopped, and when ready to serve, add cream, well whipped. Serve on lady fingers, or sponge cake cut into inch strips, and top with whipped cream.
