Escalloped Cabbage

  • 2 pints cracker crumbs
  • 1 pint finely chopped cabbage
  • 1 cup rich milk
Begin with layer of cabbage, season with salt, pepper and butter. Alternate with cracker crumbs until dish is full. Pour milk over mixture. Cover with cracker crumbs. Bake in oven heated to 350F. Tastes like oysters.
