Dixie Barbeque Sauce

- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 sour pickle, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 1 green pepper, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tablespoons chili sauce
- 4 slices lemon
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
Combine all ingredients in saucepan and cook over low flame until butter melts. Place in top of double boiler and maintain heat until ready to use on barbecued meats, or as a sauce for barbecued sandwiches.
