Cream Pie
- 1/2 cup grated coconut in 1 pint milk
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- Yolks of 2 eggs well beaten
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch stirred to paste with little cold milk
- Butter size walnut
Cook above until smooth and thick. Line pie tin with crusts and bake in hot oven. Fill with mixture and cover with beaten whites of eggs, and two tablespoons sugar. Spread with coconut and brown in oven.
