Corn Muffins
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 2 cups milk
- 2 egg whites
- 2 tsps baking powder
Mix butter, sugar and egg yolks; beat well. Sift cornmeal and flour together with salt. Add to batter and beat well. Gradually add milk. Fold in egg whites and finally the baking powder. Bake with love for 25 minutes at 350 degrees F.
