Corn Fritters
- 1 dozen ears of sugar corn, grated,
- 1 cup of good milk
- 3 yolks and
- Whites of 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoonful of salt
- 1 tablespoonful of flour
- Little nutmeg
To one dozen ears of sugar corn, grated, add one cup of good milk, three yolks and the whites of four eggs, beaten separately, one teaspoonful of salt, one tablespoonful of flour, and a little nutmeg. Drop the mixture, by the tablespoonfuls, into boiling lard.
