Cinnamon Cake

  • 7 pounds of flour
  • 2 pounds of butter,
  • 3 pints of milk
  • 1/2 teacup of yeast
Have ready seven pounds of flour, two pounds of butter, and three pints of milk. Mix the flour with about the quantity of milk and half a teacup of yeast, and set it to rise up. Add the remainder of the milk with the butter melted in it, when you make up the cake. Roll the dough upon your tins, and spread butter, sugar, and cinnamon over the cakes.
