Chutney

  • 1 pound apple
  • 8 ounces tomatoes
  • 1/2 ounce salt (or 1 ounces)
  • 8 ounces sugar
  • 8 ounces raisins
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper
  • 2 ounce ginger
  • 2 ounce garlic
  • 2 ounce onions
  • 3 pints vinegar
Chop apples, onion, tomatoes, and raisins. Mix spices and vinegar with them; put in a warm location and stir twice a day for a fortnight.
