Chocolate Cream No. 1
- 1 quart of milk
- 4 eggs
- 3 tablespoons of grated chocolate
- Sugar
- Vanilla
Take one quart of milk, four eggs, and three tablespoonful of grated chocolate. Boil the chocolate first in a little water, then add the milk and sugar to your liking; also flavor it with vanilla, or whatever you most prefer. Add the eggs as for boiled custard; stir it till it thickens, and then pour it into cups.
