Chipped Beef & Creamed Eggs
- 1/4 lb cooked beef, chipped
- 6 hard boiled eggs, sliced
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup white sauce
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- Salt
- Pepper
Slice the hard boiled eggs into a baking dish, putting first a layer of eggs then one of beef. To make the white sauce, mix flour, milk, pepper and salt to taste well together. Boil for 5 minutes (be patient, you rascal). Pour a little of the white sauce over each layer. Finish with bread crumbs sprinkled across the top. Dot with butter. Bake in a oven heated to 350F at 350°F until brown.
