Chicken Turbet

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 pint of milk
  • 1/2 can of mushrooms
  • Chicken
  • Cracker crumbs
Two tablespoons melted butter, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 pint of milk, 1/2 can of mushrooms. Stir the flour into the melted butter and add slowly the milk. Pour over the chicken and mushrooms. Prepare the chicken as for chicken salad (after they are boiled cut into small pieces). Put into your baking pan and add cracker crumbs and pieces of butter, and bake same as escalloped oysters. 3 chickens for 20 people.
