Chestnut Stuffing
- 50 large chestnuts
- 2 cups cooked meat or poultry
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon minced parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 3 tablespoons butter
Blanch and shell the chestnuts and boil 30 minutes in water enough to cover; drain and chop. Chop the meat, add to chestnuts, and mix well with other ingredients.
