Cherry Dessert
- 1 quart milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 heaping tablespoons cornstarch
- almond extract
- 1 cup red canned or candied cherries
- Whipped cream
Cook mil, sugar, and cornstarch like blanc mange. Just before pouring into molds, turn in the cherries. Flavor with almond, and set in a cold place. When cold, serve proudly with whipped cream.
