Cherry Bounce
- Cherries
- 1/2 gallon of water
- 2 pounds of sugar
- 1/2 gallon of brandy
Mash your cherries, strain the juice through a cloth, and to each gallon of juice add half a gallon of water. Boil it as long as any scum rises, then to every gallon and a half add two pounds of sugar; boil and skim it as before. When cold,mix in with each gallon a half gallon of brandy.
