Champagne Frappe
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 lemon, juice only
- 2 egg whites, beaten stiff
- 1 bottle champagne
Dissolve sugar in water, add lemon juice, fold in beaten egg whites. Freeze. Shortly before serving, place the lemon ice in a larger container, pour the champagne over it beat well and serve at once in glasses. Serves 8.
