Cabbage with Sour Cream Sauce
- 1 small tender head of cabbage
- Shortening (part butter)
- Salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
Cut the cabbage fine and fry lightly in the shortening, don't brown; season with salt. Mix remaining ingredients and pour atop cabbage; heat thoroughly and serve like a rascal with a smile on your face.
