Butter Rim with Shrimps

  • 1/2 pound butter
  • Curlicues
  • Little green vegetable coloring
With water-dipped butter paddles pat and shape 1/2 pound butter into shape 2 1/2 wide and 5" long. Cut long thin slices with a hot and sharp knife and place immediately on a round platter, but do not crowd or overlap. Spray curlicues on each slice with creamed butter mixed with a little green vegetable coloring. Fill the center of the ring with iced, boiled and peeled shrimp.
