Bread Griddle Cakes
- 2 cups soft bread crumbs
- 2 cup s scalded milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
Pour milk on to bread crumbs and let stand several hours. Add dry ingredients, mixed and sifted, yolks and whites beaten separately, and cook as griddle cakes.
